UniCare’s Client Service Center combines sophisticated technology, highly-trained claims and customer service teams and proven processes to provide our customers with comprehensive and coordinated benefits administration.

The Client Service Center concentrates all of our service capabilities in one place, reducing organizational layers, pushing decision-making down to the team level and moving problem-solving closer to the customer. This integrated approach allows UniCare to process claims, answer employee and provider questions, respond to employer requests and perform many other client service functions in the most efficient way possible. We establish aggressive performance standards in the Client Service Center and continuously measure our level of quality service to the client and the member. This helps ensure that our team always meets or exceeds the customer’s service expectations.

Flex/COBRA Administration

UniCare simplifies the administration of flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and COBRA by offering its clients:

  • High quality administrative services to plan sponsors as well as program participants
  • Participation and remittance activity reports
  • Efficient coordination of administrative procedures into a single program of benefits.

UniCare offers the sophisticated, fully automated support that makes FSA programs simple, straightforward, and manageable for employers and employees alike. Our FSA programs include full administrative services, from claim processing to employee statements and management reports.

UniCare COBRA Administration Services manages a client’s COBRA compliance by providing:

  • Prototype notification in accordance with Department of Labor guidelines
  • Maintenance of employee records
  • Billing and collection of premiums

Data Information Reporting Services

MyDataPointSM is UniCare’s proprietary online tool that helps make plan data and performance reporting easy for clients. The intuitively designed and ease-of-use reporting system allows benefits administrators and producers to rapidly “drill down” to case-specific information, then, quickly generate targeted plan reports addressing things such as:

  • claimant frequency
  • utilization by major diagnostic category
  • plan savings in monthly and year-to-date views,
  • per member per month calculations
  • and much more

In addition, MyDataPointSM provides access to report packages that are regularly distributed at their pre-determined frequency in PDF format.

Using the speed and convenience of online technology and password protected user access, MyDataPoint’sSM helpful prompts guide you from step to step and track your report-generating progress. Clients need only Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later to instantly create accurate and targeted plan reports.
