UniCare participates in a uniform credentialing process sponsored by the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH). This process allows physician credentialing and recredentialing for multiple organizations using a single electronic format. The national database provides a secure online format for the storage and communication of credentialing and practice information.
